Editorial Standards
We reject more submissions than we accept, and almost always for the same reason: the piece restates advice the reader has already found somewhere else. What gets published tells the reader something they could not have guessed.
- Original and exclusive. Not published elsewhere, now or later — including on your own blog or Medium.
- 1,200–2,000 words. Long enough to be useful, short enough to stay tight.
- Specific over general. First-hand experience, real numbers, actual examples. Anecdotes beat adjectives.
- Structured. Clear subheadings, short paragraphs, no wall of text.
- Sourced. Link any statistic or claim to a credible source. We fact-check.
- Written for humans. AI-assisted drafting is fine; unedited AI output is obvious and gets rejected.
- Links. One or two contextual links to your own site where they genuinely help the reader, plus one in your author bio.
The Fee
$10 per published post
Publication costs $10 (USD) per accepted post. It is payable once we have accepted your piece and before it goes live — we never charge for a pitch or for a submission we turn down. The fee covers editorial review, formatting, publication and ongoing hosting on our domain.
We would rather state this plainly on a public page than surprise you in an email thread. If the fee does not work for you, we understand — but please do not pitch and then ask for it to be waived.

What We Don't Publish
- Topics unrelated to interviewing, hiring or careers — crypto, gambling, adult, pharma and essay-writing services are automatic declines
- Spun, thin or unedited AI-generated filler
- Anything previously published or syndicated elsewhere
- Pure product promotion dressed as an article
- Submissions whose real purpose is the link rather than the reader
- Fabricated statistics, invented quotes or unattributed claims
How to Submit
Pitch first. Do not send a finished draft before we have agreed on the topic — it wastes your time more than ours.
1. Send a short pitch. Email hello@interviewace.online with the subject line Guest post pitch: [your topic].
2. Include three things. A working title, a three-to-five line outline, and a link to something you have written before. If you want a link in the piece, name the target URL up front.
3. Wait for a yes. If we accept the pitch, we will confirm the angle, the deadline and the fee. Only then do you write the full draft — Google Doc or Markdown, either is fine.
What Happens After You Submit
- Within 5 business days: we reply to every pitch, including the ones we decline.
- One edit round: we send comments; you revise. We do not rewrite your piece without telling you.
- Payment: the $10 fee is settled after acceptance and before publication.
- Live within about a week of final approval, with the URL sent to you once it is up.

Do you accept AI-written articles?
Using AI to draft or edit is fine — we care about the finished piece. Unedited AI output, with no first-hand insight or specifics, is rejected on sight.
How long does the whole process take?
We reply to pitches within five business days. After the draft is approved, the post is usually live within a week.
